We’re Thinkbean... a Boston-based, Drupal-only development company and we have a need for an experienced frontend engineer that understands the Drupal theme layer from a code perspective.

We also need you to have experience working with popular javascript libraries and frameworks like Reactjs and Vue.js as well as GraphQl and HTTP clients.

At Thinkbean, we need an individual who can bring both creativity and strategy to every project. As our Senior Frontend Engineer, you will work in between our Digital Strategy and Engineering teams to create experiences for our clients and their customers. We’re looking for someone who can:

-Assist in technical planning and estimation of front-end development tasks.
-Work with the Drupal Theme system form a code level as well as site-building
-Work with a Drupal backend engineer to complete projects in tandem.
-Build out the front-end of custom products and be able to translate wireframes and designs into world-class web applications.
-Conduct peer code reviews and incorporate unit testing into new and current projects.
-Work with a variety of frameworks and libraries including ES6 Javascript, React (JSX), Redux, Node.js, Vue.JS, etc.
-Assess current codebases and make refactoring recommendations to improve efficiency and readability.

Additional required skills and desired experience:

-7+ years of software development experience.
-7+ years of experience with Drupal
-Strong experience with React (JSX) or equivalent technology.
-Experience with CSS, HTML/HTML5 and JavaScript a must.
-Experience using and interacting with APIs.
-Demonstrate past experience through a robust portfolio.
-Experience working on a team using Agile methodologies.

If you possess the above and are interested in decoupled Drupal environments, cutting edge frontend experiences and the opportunity to build projects from the ground up, you are the person we need.
