We are recruiting for over-the-phone interpreting opportunities in most languages. Work on your own schedule and earn $$$ for what you love doing. You will be an independent contractor. You'll manage your time and take interpreting calls when you're available. Training may be provided.

Responsibility:

Provide the highest level of customer service during the interpreting session

Provide accurate and thorough interpretation

Provide feedback on your calls

Expand your vocabulary and knowledge of the subject matters

Take language assessment tests and continuous training

High level of professionalism and ethical standards

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have the training necessary and at least 1 year of experience to provide accurate and fluent interpretation services

Minimum 1 year interpreting services

Must have a strong command of the English language

Must pass a language assessment test

Ability to communicate effectively across languages and cultures

Ability to multitask concentrate, take effective notes, and simultaneously respond in your native language

Happy International Women's Day! Today, we celebrate the incredible achievements of women all around the world. We would like to take this opportunity to share the inspiring journey of our Managing Director, Melissa Letteri.

Melissa became involved in the translation & localization industry during her junior year at Boston College. Melissa has a passion for languages but knew she did not want to pursue a teaching career. After a trip the Career Center and an internship at a localization company, she was hooked! She learned all she could before deciding to launch Global Link Language Services, Inc.

Managing a team of over 2,500 linguists around the globe come with its challenges, but Melissa is always up for the task. Her passion for languages and genuine love for helping her customers understand the world of translation are the driving forces behind her success today, and we couldn't be more proud of her achievements.

Despite her busy schedule, Melissa always makes time to be a positive influence on those around her. She loves spending time with her husband, two daughters, and extended family. In her spare time, she loves to travel internationally where she can use her French, Spanish, and Italian language skills with the locals. Her dedication to her work inspires us all, and we are honored to have her as part of our team.

Melissa has watched Global Link grow since 1996 and her contributions to our clientele have been recognized across the globe. Her journey is a testament to the endless possibilities that lie ahead for women everywhere.
