Cow tag is from our dairy barn turned show barn, although Andy said it's not truly a show barn. One day maybe we will have one of those fancy show facilities.

Anyone else? Yesterday, I had probably one of the most productive days. Yet as the hours ticked by all i was worried about was everything I wasn't going to get done.

Maybe one day it'll be good enough but not today 🥴

Also, I really need some uninterrupted camera time. It's been way too long since I could just create without purpose.

It's that time of year again...

Today it was the calves sneaking out of the pen before I could tie them up and breaking the very last mangled show stick we use to help catch them with halters.

For reference I did not break the show stick, a calf ran it over.

Raise show cattle they said. It will be fun they said.

I've shared my favorite fonts for logos but I thought I'd also share my favorite fonts I use for banner designs.

So why do I always go back to these tried and true options?

- Easy to read. A banner design is only as good as your ability to read it, especially in a backdrop photo.

- Mix of different heights, weights and widths to work with both vertical and horizontal designs. Just ask me how I feel about the having to use the word "intermediate" frequently 😅.

- Pair well with each other and other fonts and work for a variety of different themes.

When I first started almost every client I worked with would say that their colors were black and then you could guess either red, blue, purple or turquoise in most cases. Now I get to work with so many different color combinations.
