Did you know? New England is home to over 300 species of native bees! 🐝 From tiny metallic green sweat bees to fuzzy bumblebees, these unsung heroes are vital pollinators for our local ecosystems and food supply. But, like bee populations worldwide, many of our native New England bees are facing threats from habitat loss and pesticide use.

Let's show our buzzing buddies some love! Here are a few ways you can help:

Plant native flowers: Create a bee-friendly garden with plants like coneflowers, asters, and goldenrod.

Reduce pesticide use: Opt for organic gardening methods.

Provide water: A shallow dish with pebbles can be a lifesaver for thirsty bees.

Support local beekeepers: Buy local honey and bee products.

Every little bit helps protect these incredible pollinators! Share your favorite bee facts or what you're doing to help in the comments below!

🐝 Bees: Earth’s Mighty Pollinators 🌍✨
Bees have officially been recognized as the most important species on Earth β€” and for good reason.
πŸ”Ή They pollinate 70% of the crops that feed 90% of the global population.
πŸ”Ή They maintain biodiversity and support healthy ecosystems.
πŸ”Ή Without them, our food supply and natural world could collapse.
But bee populations are in serious decline β€” threatened by pesticides, habitat destruction, and climate change. 🐝⚠️
Here’s how you can help:
🌻 Grow pollinator-friendly plants
🚫 Avoid harmful chemicals
🌾 Support eco-friendly agriculture
Let’s protect the species that feeds the planet.
No bees = no food. No future.

🐝🌼 Welcome to Rent a Bee! 🌼🐝

We're buzzing with excitement to introduce you to our vision: Rent a Bee β€” Bridging Nature and Technology!
At Rent a Bee, we believe everyone should have the chance to make a real difference for the environment. Our mission? To deploy 300 hives across the New England region by 2026, partnering with urban beekeepers who’ve lost 25–30% of colonies annually to climate stressors

Join Rent a Bee and receive fresh honey harvested directly from your sponsored hive! Each subscription directly supports healthy bee colonies, helping to combat pollinator decline while boosting local agriculture.

Our Kickstarter campaign is launching soon, and we’re inviting YOU to become a founding supporter. Click the link below to sign up for updates and be the first to know when we go live:
