Jennifer Duchemin joined Annkissam with 15+ years of experience working with multiple Arcs in Massachusetts. She started her career in and later became an Adult Family Care (AFC) Case Manager where she eventually oversaw AFC Programs and Personal Care Management Program Operations, including intake, billing, reporting, quality assurance, administration, and billing functions.

Her first-hand knowledge allows her to “put herself in her client's shoes” when tailoring FMS Engine to meet specific program needs and requirements.

2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the Independent Living Movement! In the 1960s, people with disabilities in the U.S. were freed from involuntary detainment in places like nursing homes and institutions, and in 1972, the first Center for Independent Living was founded.

As a result of deinstitutionalization, people with disabilities were given the opportunity to live their lives independently, giving birth to the Independent Living Movement.
