👩‍💻 Who is Fei-Fei?
Fei-Fei Li is an AI researcher, Stanford professor, and co-director of the Stanford Human-Centered AI Institute. She’s one of the most influential figures in advancing computer vision and ethical AI.

⚙️ What did she do?
Fei-Fei led the creation of ImageNet, a groundbreaking dataset that helped train modern AI systems to recognize and categorize images—laying the foundation for today’s AI breakthroughs.

⚠ Security Update


The first quarter of every year is a high volume period for social engineering and malware attacks. There is a rise in the number of attacks that use a series of artificial CAPTCHA prompts to fool users into downloading and running malicious software. This use of malware that *looks* like legitimate security software you commonly see is incredibly effective and highlights the needs to remain vigilant when using web applications.

An increasing number of websites use a clipboard hijacker and instruct victims on how to infect their own machine.

Happy Women’s History Month! 🎉 What’s it really like to work in tech? All month long, we’re celebrating women who are making waves at top tech companies—starting with Disney! Catch us live every Wednesday for Q&As with leaders in STEM.

Kicking things off is Devika Chipalkatti, a front-end software engineer at Disney based in Los Angeles. Devika is an alum of our Summer Immersion Program. She went on to launch a Girls Who Code club at her high school, serve as a SIP Teaching Assistant, and represent GWC in interviews with WIRED and CNET. She studied computer science and was part of our inaugural Girls Who Code Alumni Advisory Council, later returning as a Council Leader. She has also contributed to USA Today interviews, Hiring Summit panels, and curriculum focus groups.

Devika continues to champion women in STEM through her women’s group at Disney, Club Penguin Engineers. When she’s not coding, you can find her running, reading tarot cards, or enjoying long walks in the sun.
