Microsoft quietly introduced something in March that could save your team hours every week: Work IQ in Copilot.
Here’s the shift:

It can tap into your emails, Teams chats, meetings, and files—then use that context directly inside Excel.
What that actually looks like:
Reconcile invoices against the original quote thread
Update forecasts using notes from your latest pipeline meeting
Clean up messy client data—without the back-and-forth
No more piecing everything together first.
A couple of important notes:
You’ll need a Microsoft 365 Copilot license
Files must be stored in your business tenant (not personal OneDrive)
Copilot only sees what you have access to—but that’s the catch 👇
⚠️ If your SharePoint/OneDrive permissions are messy, Copilot will expose that fast.
