Gerald is your VPN - and now he has help.

Trinity Cyber gives him full visibility into network traffic, inspecting each object, ensuring threats are edited out of your users sessions in real time.

Want to be like Gerald? Let’s talk.

Blockchain was built for transparency and resilience. Attackers are now using those same qualities to hide malware infrastructure, rotate command-and-control servers, and keep phishing campaigns alive.

Instead of relying on domains and IPs that can be blocked, EtherHiding campaigns store malicious instructions inside blockchain smart contracts, making traditional defenses increasingly ineffective.

Our latest blog examines how threat actors are abusing platforms like Binance Smart Chain and Polygon, and discusses why defenders need to inspect the content of traffic, not just where it's going.

🚨 AI-enabled threats are faster, harder to detect, and harder to stop.

Attackers can generate new variants at machine scale, conceal malicious content inside ordinary files and traffic, and move from initial access to impact faster than security teams can investigate. By the time an alert fires, the attack may already be underway.

Our latest eBook examines why AI-enabled threats are outpacing detection and response and how preemptive defense changes the game.

Gerald is your VPN. You asked him how an attacker with stolen credentials reached sensitive applications and delivered a malicious payload along the way.

Gerald checks his notes.

“The tunnel was encrypted and connected successfully.”

Exactly. Gerald protected the connection. He didn’t control every access request, limit the attacker’s lateral movement, inspect the traffic, or stop the threat inside it.

This thinking has to stop. See why: https://hubs.la/Q04rs-zQ0

A user receives an invoice notice with a link to SharePoint, sees a familiar platform, and opens it without hesitation because the domain is legitimate and the connection is allowed.

The Secure Web Gateway (SWG) allowed the connection because the destination was trusted. But the content inside it was malicious.

Traditional SWGs were designed to enforce acceptable use policy, not to stop sophisticated attacks delivered through services users already trust.

Our latest blog from Mike Denning examines what security leaders should expect from a modern SWG.

A VPN is an attacker’s favorite front door because it is exposed, trusted, and often provides broad access once compromised.

Replacing it with conventional ZTNA only focuses on who is connecting, and not what is moving through the session. That leaves a major security gap where inadequate threat inspection doesn’t stop malicious content from moving through an approved session.

The VPN Replacement Playbook breaks down how real zero trust remote access can stop threats before they reach you.

Gerald is your VPN. He’s done a decent job getting your remote users onto your network.

The problem? He can’t enable granular control or actually inspect traffic for threats.

Get better visibility, control, and protection for your network.

MSPs are under pressure to deliver stronger security, faster response times, fewer false positives, and predictable service costs. Meeting those expectations across a growing number of customers can quickly overwhelm security teams and erode margins.

Detection-heavy security makes that balance even harder, as each new customer adds more telemetry, operational work, and pressure on teams and margins.

Our latest blog from Cramer Snuggs looks at a better approach: stopping malicious activity before it reaches the customer and creates work downstream. For MSPs, that means fewer preventable incidents, less operational burden, and a path to delivering active defense as a Managed Intelligence Provider.

That's a wrap on Black Hat USA 2026 🎉

Thank you to everyone who visited the Trinity Cyber booth this week.

One theme came up repeatedly throughout our conversations: security teams are looking for ways to reduce risk without adding more complexity.

We appreciated the opportunity to discuss active cyber defense, learn from others across the industry, and connect with so many members of the cybersecurity community.

See you next year, Black Hat.

AI has changed the speed and scale of attacks that detection and response were built to handle.

When threats evolve faster than security teams can investigate, triage, and respond, the gap between initial access and impact becomes the attacker’s advantage.

Our latest eBook examines why reactive security is being outpaced and how preemptive defense removes threats before they reach your network, users, or applications.
