Fun Fact: On this day in 1475, Michelangelo was born. One of his earliest commissioned pieces was the Pieta, located in St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City.

I have never been able to get enough of it and it is definitely at the top of my list to eventually see in person. Below is a link to read a little about that man who created this and so many more well known works of art.

The perspective of these ads at the time are hilarious to look back at. It's interesting to think about how far things have come, and how much farther we actually have to go when it comes to equality among mankind. Inflated messages aside, the illustrative style of these are incredible.
