A great safety reminder for summer projects! 🚩

With fiber construction picking back up, you may notice more locate flags and markings appearing around the community. They’re an important step in helping crews work safely and avoid damaging underground utilities.

Called 811? Great! Just remember, flags and locator marks show where underground utilities run, but they don’t tell you how deep. Buried electric, gas, water, fiber, and other lines may be only inches below the surface thanks to time and weather, and striking one can cause serious injury, service interruptions, and costly repairs.
