NOW HIRING ---- Electrical Installer/Electrical Apprentice

Pro Sound Service Inc. Located 13 miles south of Boston in Braintree, MA is looking for an Experienced Electrical Installer/Electrical Apprentice to work on light commercial projects in the following markets:
· House of Worship
· Schools
· Performance, Sports and Recreation facilities
· Restaurants – Hospitality
· Entertainment Venues
· Corporate Clients

The ideal candidate is an Electrical Apprentice or Electrical Installer with 1-2+ years of field experience in a Commercial or Residential environment.

You will work directly under the supervision of a Licensed Journeyman Electrician and a team of installers/technicians daily at customer job sites.

Responsibilities include:
· Electrical and mechanical installation methods and codes including wire and cable installation, pulling and termination/testing.
· Mechanical installation including rigging, and equipment mounting both on the ground and in the air with ladder and scaffolding involved. Heavy lifting is required at times.
· Compliance of National Electrical Code
· Utilizing blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, manufacturer’s installation manuals and using tools of the trade

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem solving skills, a neat appearance and strong work ethic are required. You must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, clean driving record and be able to pass a CORI check.

We offer excellent starting salary and a generous benefits package which includes Medical insurance plan 100% company paid HMO (single person plan),401K, Dental, life insurance, Long and short term disability as well as generous vacation and sick time allowances.

This is a full-time permanent position 40 hours week, M-F with occasional overtime as required.

Pro Sound Service Inc. Located 13 miles south of Boston in Braintree, MA is looking for an Experienced Pro Audio / Video / Live Stream installation and service technician

Pro Sound Service Specializes in Design, Sales, Installation and Maintenance of Commercial Audio, Video and Live Streaming systems for the following markets.

• House of Worship
• Schools
• Performance, Sports and Recreation facilities
• Restaurants – Hospitality
• Entertainment Venues
• Corporate Clients

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 yrs. experience in a Commercial Pro or Residential Audio /Video environment as an installer/ technician. . We will however consider less experienced candidates who possess the core skills and aptitude needed for the position and are willing to learn.

This position requires knowledge of
• Electrical and mechanical installation methods and codes including wire and cable installation, pulling and termination/ testing.
• Mechanical installation including equipment mounting both on the ground and in the air. Extensive ladder work is involved in this job.
• Various control systems
• Audio and Video Signal flow and troubleshooting.
• Pro Audio/ Video installation and distribution methods.
• Live Streaming systems including VMix software

We will provide training on
• Current state of the art Pro Audio and Video gear including Digital mixers, and VMix Video production system.
• High end Pro Audio gear including Loudspeaker arrays, intelligent amplifiers/ DSP devices.

This is a field installer’s position at customer’s job sites performing installations and service, it is not a desk job or a production/set up job.

This position requires much ladder work and some heavy lifting at times.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail as well as a neat appearance and strong work ethic are required.

This position requires experience with mechanical and electrical installation methods as well as Audio and Video systems set up and troubleshooting. If you don’t possess those skills you won’t be suited for the job.

The Shure 600MHz Wireless Rebate Program has been extended!

While you MUST stop using your systems once the new owner of the spectrum has started using it, you now have until October 31st, 2018 to claim your rebate on replacement Shure microphones.
