COVID-19 (formally known as 2019-nCoV) is the name for the respiratory syndrome caused by infection with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).
Quest Diagnostics and ExamOne are monitoring the situation closely. Our priority is the health and safety of our employees, individuals and the communities we serve. We are currently following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The CDC provides information on COVID-19 at: www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov.
We have modified our scheduling, reminder and appointment confirmation to include the following questions:
In the last 14 days have you exhibited signs of fever or respiratory distress, or had close contact with someone who has?
In the last 14 days have you traveled to China, South Korea, Iran, Hong Kong or Italy or had close contact with an individual who has?
Our travel question has been updated to ask:
In the last 14 days have you traveled to any Restricted Travel Area or taken a cruise, or had close contact with an individual who has?
If a customer answers yes to either question, he or she is directed to delay scheduling the appointment for 14 days from diagnosis, contact or date of travel, and advised to contact their insurance company.
We are cancelling work-related travel through the end of April and will keep you informed as to rescheduling. Thank you for your patience, trust and loyalty; we will continue to work hard to earn your partnership through the concerns of today and the many great days we will enjoy together in the future!
We are limiting our hours of operation and ask that customers please utilize our website, www.kramer-it.com, and/or utilize calling us at 239-360-1010 to provide social distancing and ensure everyone's health is being considered during these difficult times.
