It's always great to collaborate with the team at Bluegrass Distillers. I recently got to work with them on the identity and packaging for their new line of finished rye whiskeys, Midway Distilling Company. Five finishes to choose from, and each bottle includes a "spinner" to determine who pays for the round ... or any other challenge you can think of after a few sips.

I'm participating in an online auction for Clean Water for Africa. My contribution is a custom logo design ( #142 in the link below), and there are many other items to bid on as well. 100% of the proceeds from this auction will go to support clean water projects with the African Riverkeepers in Kenya, Uganda, and Togo. The projects include wells, water filters, and water quality testing.

I've always enjoyed looking at maps. In addition to helping us not get lost, they can also take us on mini-adventures without leaving the house. And for a business or other organization, maps are an effective tool for clearly showing customers and participants the "where" part of your story. Here are a few I've done to help show the way.

It was fun working with my old friend Steve Steurer (who taught me a lot about making patterns and enjoying life) on the branding for his company, Steurer & Co. They build fantastic premium-quality handmade leather products and traditional golf bags out of Louisville, KY. I love how they've implemented the identity on their products and tags.
