New Feature Coming to ShaunSocial Events Plugin: Group Events Integration
Your communities can now organize events directly inside groups.
With the new Group Events feature, every group gets its own dedicated Events tab where members can discover, join, and manage group-specific events without leaving the community.
Key Highlights:
+ Create Events Directly Inside Groups: Group owners and admins can create events directly from the group page with the group automatically pre-selected.
+ Members-Only RSVP Access: Only group members can join or show interest in group events. Non-members visiting the event page will be prompted to join the group first.
+ Auto Event Feed Post & Notifications: When a group event is approved, ShaunSocial automatically creates a post inside the group feed and sends notifications to group members and followers.
+ Dedicated Group Events Tab: Every group now has a clean Events tab displaying all active upcoming events with RSVP actions, counters, date/time, location, and more.
+ Co-Host Protection: For better privacy and management, only members of the same group can be added as co-hosts for group events.
+ Better Community Engagement: Group events also appear in “Your Events” and can surface in the main Events listing for eligible members, helping communities stay active and connected.
