Run "Check for Updates" to take advantage of the latest developments in ARM 2026.0!

UPDATED: Enhanced GEP Accreditation Certificate
Search the GEP Certificate Database System (Certibase) within ARM to populate GEP Accreditation details (test facility and certificate).
1. Select Help > Profile > Certificates tab.
2. Click on the Certibase button.
3. Select Country and/or Organization and click Search.
4. Choose an active certificate and click OK to save to Profile.
5. Select Update Trial to copy selected certificate details to the current trial.

ARM Mobile Post #5: This week, we're highlighting ARM Mobile, our notetaking app.
To utilize ARM Mobile in your organization, a connection and a data plan is required.

1. The Electronic Data Collector add-in (EDC) is the connection between ARM software and data collection apps like ARM Mobile. At a technical level, this enables ARM to export your trial definitions and "base info", to be used by ARM Mobile.
EDC also includes the Tablet Data Collector add-in (TDCx), and active TDCx licenses receive a free upgrade to EDC.

2. The second step is to purchase a data plan. Data points exported from ARM Mobile are counted anonymously (GDM does not see any of your data). This is tallied and billed per company invoice, so only 1 plan is needed per group.

*The ARM Mobile app itself is free, so it can be used on as many devices as you would like: no activation or registration required!

ARM Mobile Post #4: This week, we're highlighting ARM Mobile, our notetaking app.

Taking notes with ARM Mobile is as easy as:
1. Importing trial definitions from cloud storage (internet is required for this step).
2. Then select the trials to rate in this notetaking session.
3. Next, select or create assessment columns to take data.
4. Now, record the data. This can include pictures or comments; the value can also be excluded from analysis.
5. Review the assessment with the heat map, to catch issues and review the assessment before leaving the site.
6. Finally, export the data back to the cloud (internet is required for this step).

ARM Mobile Post #3: This week, we're highlighting ARM Mobile, our notetaking app.

Here is a look at the ARM Mobile workflow:
1. The first component is the "Base Information" from your ARM software. This is primarily the Favorites lists from ARM for data entry. Specifically:
-Standard Evaluations
-Assessed By (list of ARM Mobile users)
-Crop/Pests commonly used
-Assessment-related lists (e.g., Part Rated, measurement units)
2. This information is saved to a cloud storage service (Dropbox, OneDrive, or Google Drive) on the PC.
3. ARM Mobile downloads "BaseInfo" during installation/setup of the app on your phone.
4. Next are the individual trial files. The Trial Definition is sent to the cloud, not the entire ARM trial file. This consists of:
-SE Definitions list
-Columns without data
-Attachments
-Site Details
5. This information is saved in the TrialDef folder in the cloud, and imported into ARM Mobile.
6. After using the mobile app to record data, take pictures, and review the assessments:
-Export the data to the cloud, when internet is available.
-ARM automatically imports the data into the trial file on the PC when the file is opened.

ARM Mobile Post #2: This week, we're highlighting ARM Mobile, our notetaking app.

ARM Mobile facilitates the core principles of quality research:
*Enter data immediately, at the trial location.
*Consistency in assessments must extend across dates, different notetakers, and across locations. Standardization features deployed with ARM Mobile can bolster this effort.
*The only way to ensure data integrity is to review the data while still at the trial site. Visualization of the data is the most efficient way to catch mistakes or irregularities.
* Data transfer should occur in a professional manner – not transcribed from paper to computer, and not copied and pasted from file to file

#1: Limit Assessment Crop & Pest list to items selected on Site Description (pre-defined)
Links Crop/Pest fields on Assessment editor with selections entered on Crop and Pest Description tabs of Site Description. This helps ensure the correct codes are entered (and saves time finding them)!
