Scammers are constantly coming up with new tricks to catch us off guard, but knowledge is our best defense! Here are some tips to help you prevent falling victim to😾 scams:

Be Skeptical: If an offer or message sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Trust your gut!

Verify Before You Act: If you receive an unexpected call, email, or message asking for personal or financial information, verify the sender's identity through official channels.

Strong Passwords: Use strong, unique passwords for your online accounts and enable two-factor authentication whenever possible.

Keep Software Updated: Regularly update your device's operating system and software to patch security vulnerabilities.

Don't Click on Suspicious Links: Hover over links to see where they lead and avoid clicking on anything that seems fishy.

Protect Personal Information: Be cautious about sharing personal and financial information, both online and over the phone.

Stay Informed: Keep up to date with the latest scam trends and tactics by following trusted sources and official alerts.

Heads up: I just received a voicemail SCAM call claiming to be from SPECTRUM. They are not!!! 🤬The phone number they called from or 'spoofed' from was (978) 955-7879. The recording says to call 877-207-0619 to receive 50% off your Spectrum Bill. DO NOT call the number. It's a scam and you WILL NOT receive 50% off your bill.😵. There have been others just like this one claiming to be from Comcast, but we don't have Comcast in our area, so wouldn't want anyone to fall for this one.
