In freight, the first quote back usually wins the load. So it's worth asking why so many quotes still go out a day late when the rate sheet needed to build them was sitting there the whole time.
The data was never the bottleneck. The handoff was: a dispatcher looking it up, a call to the carrier, a wait for a reply, then finally typing up the email. Every one of those steps is a place a quote can stall overnight.
Wire the same rate sheet into a system that can generate and send the quote directly, and the exact same information moves in minutes instead of a day, without anyone doing anything differently on the carrier side.
If your quotes are consistently going out slower than you'd like, that's usually a wiring problem, not a data problem.
