Sad news: Bandcamp recently contacted me telling me they would no longer be supporting the API that powers bandcamper. As a result, I was forced to remove bandcamper from the App Store and will no longer be supported. Major bummer :(

The Bandcamper "Trending" tab is broken. It's because Twitter closed their public timeline API. I'm fixing it this weekend.

bandcamper, version 1.5.4 is approved and live in the App Store. Should fix the crashing when streaming songs once and for all.

Ah damn. So it looks like Bandcamp changed the streaming path AGAIN (back to the old one) so bandcamper will crash when you try to play songs, regardless of if they're Favorited or not. Ironically, if I hadn't done anything, bandcamper would be working still.

Anyway, the bug has been fixed, the update was submitted to Apple, and I requested an expedited Review.

Sorry for all the bandcamper crashes lately. Bandcamp changed their API a few days ago which changed the streaming URL path. Anyway, the problem has been fixed and the update was submitted to Apple. Expect an update in the next couple days.

Update for bandcamper approved today. Mostly bug fixes, but now you can enter .bandcamp.com style URL's directly into the search bar as requested by lots of folks!

I have to take responsibility, too, and 2013 is the year I plan to ramp up my spending and contribute as directly as I can to the musicians. In my fantasy utopia, people who can afford to would voluntarily pay to keep music free.
