I was being taught how to communicate with it. Being taught how to type words & commands in them to get them to do what i wanted them to do. This program that was put into this CPU (central processing unit) was MS Dos. The first IBM PC ran on a 4.77 MHz Intel 8088 microprocessor. The PC came equipped with 16 kilobytes of memory, expandable to 256k. The PC came with one or two 160k floppy disk driv
es and an optional color monitor. The price tag started at $1,565, which would be nearly $4,000 today. This was the very first program that was introduce to the computer. I then begin putting codes, and commands within this system and was fasciated on the responses i would get back. Answers. Once learning about this fascinated product, i then knew i had to take up typing. While in school I did take it up, (when they had the manual typewriter. the one where you push back when you got to the end of the page! was that like centuries ago! Upon mastering the skill of typing I was able to begin my Data Entry teaching, which was taught on that IBM PC with the CPU. I went to class every day and also to business school to learn this product more and more. As time went on, Windows 3.1 came out and AOL (dial up) was introduce to the computer. That was the move then, you can now get online and see another dimension. Another part of this incredible machine! I would sit there and wait for minutes upon hours (at times) to get online so I can continue my conversation with friends from my buddy list! That was soo kewl!! also, Windows 3.1 open up more doors to the outside world. It allowed you to communicate with people way in other parts of the world as well as right next door to me! Upon that introduction to the Windows world, then 95, 98, and into the world of the 2000! By then, the computers had changed a lot. They became flatter, more portable, and versatile to use. I know, because my obsession with them, made me follow them up to the world I'm in now. Macbook Pro! I haven't learn every aspect of them, but I am still learning. I do know how to do MS. DOS if I had to, install & use any hardware that's needed. Install & use any software that's needed! Know how to install security for you precious babies so that no virus can harm them, and if any virus happens to get into it, I know how to get inside them and get rid of them!!! Sometimes unfortunately, it causes for a re-installment of your operating system. IF you wake up one morning and see a black or blue screen, do not hesitate to call the JCHS to come to the rescue. Look to seeya soon!! Stay Bless
