June Is Internet Safety Month 🔒

We lock our doors, buckle our seatbelts, and look both ways before crossing the street. Practicing good online safety should be just as routine. Throughout June, we'll be sharing simple tips to help you and your family stay safer online. From spotting scams to protecting your kids online, a few small changes can make a big difference.

Let's start with passwords. Your Wi-Fi password shouldn't be doing all the heavy lifting.

❌ Password123
❌ Your pet's name
❌ The same password you've been using since 2017

Instead:

✔ Use a unique password for every account
✔ Make passwords long and difficult to guess
✔ Turn on two-factor authentication whenever possible
✔ Consider using a password manager to keep track of them

Think of passwords like house keys. The more places you use the same one, the bigger the risk if it falls into the wrong hands. If you only do one thing today, update one old password and make it stronger.

We’re currently experiencing a phone service issue affecting some customers in the Fulton and Bruce areas due to a network issue with AT&T, one of our upstream carriers. This issue is outside of Arriva’s network.

At this time:
• Incoming calls to Fulton landline customers may not go through
• Long distance calls in Bruce and Fulton may be impacted for customers using a long distance service that is not Arriva

Our team is actively working with AT&T to get more information and they are working to restore services as quickly as possible. We’ll share updates as we receive them. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

We may be a week late celebrating National Pizza Day… but great pizza is always worth celebrating 🍕🍕🍕

Arriva had an amazing time hosting the Fieldstone Farms HOA Pizza Party with one of our favorite local restaurants and customers, Pie Slingers in Rock Springs, GA. Splice, Slice and Pints was the theme! From delicious pizza to family fun and great conversations with neighbors, it was a fantastic evening for everyone involved.

We love being part of communities that support local businesses and bring families together. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the night such a success!

The future of Walker County continues to look bright because of the people committed to building it together.
Tuesday's One Walker – State of the County Luncheon brought together local leaders, businesses, organizations, and community members for an encouraging conversation about growth, progress, and the vision ahead for Walker County.
Arriva’s Marketing and Sales team was honored to attend as guests and join others who are passionate about strengthening our communities and supporting local growth.
Thank you to Angie Teems and the Walker County Board of Commissioners for sharing updates, leadership, and insight into the exciting direction our county is heading.
