Country Side Tech Support I created Country Tech Support to be able to help people with their computer and technology problems, as well as teaching you how to use it.

Windows 10 end of support and life will be coming October 2025. Windows 10 will no longer get updates or be supported. Please upgrade to windows 11 if you haven't already or contact me to help you get onto windows 11, many ways to do this.

Hello everyone, dropping in to say Hi and still here. Sorry haven't posted in a while will be trying to post more things here or at least say hi more. Computer work and smart home device setup is available as well as of course technical troubleshooting. printers computers, tablets, smart phones. upgrading computers or building computer desktops is also available. Will be posting a website sooner than later as well. tech problem give me a shout, a message, an email.

Let your friends and family know. A way they have been hacking Facebook is creating an account with your profile and banner picture. There is a tell though. The name for the request if usually wrong. Like blatantly. It was say the different name on the request. Then show you the profile with your friends name on it. And then just below it will have the different name greyed out.

To anyone experiencing a service outrage
Please restart your phone if needed.

Androids should have the option to restart when you hit the power button. iPhone users. Press volume up volume down and hold the power button untill the Apple logo comes up then release.

Please note this might work for some but not all. I’m sure they are working on the issue. It’s affecting thousands

On your iPhone turn off the bring devices together setting. It’s in settings>general>airdrop>bring devices together.

Hello everyone just wanted to mention this.

If you have a road runner email address, that will have switched to spectrum email in a way. It’s now recommended to be using Gmail, yahoo mail, or outlook for an email address.

This may or may not happen on your smart, phone, smart, watch, or echo dot device or computer but be aware between 2 and 3 PM tomorrow there may or may not be a test of a new system. They are implementing it is a government warning system which will or should be mainly be used for national incidents such as hurricanes, wildfires, and other possible hazmat or other emergency situations. yes when I say they, I do mean the government, but that includes EMS fire and police agencies and it is supposed to be a newer system with more integration for emergency management systems to better prepare everyone for hazardous happenings.

If you’re noticing major battery drain from your Apple Watch after doing the latest software updates. Reset and re pair your watch to your phone. Re pair meaning reconnect. Do not do anything with the cellular if your watch is cellular.
