Here is your wake up call!

If you aren't attempting new things your company WILL fall behind.

For example colmap is being replaced by glomap. Intigrates with almost 0 work, and is 500x faster in some cases. BUT for many companies it's a huge leap to do this. You need to keep your eyes open for solutions and answers. If you don't, expect that others will!

500x faster scanning?

Doing some work with Glomap (an upgrade to Colmap) and it's absolutely making our Gaussian Splats SUPER SPEED! Also working downtown Austin Texas today. GREAT VIEWS.

Ok... So I've been having issues getting my machine to do vp because of a gpu problem ( Nvidia reached out and I'm setting up a time) Does any studio want to play with our new gaussian splats? I'd love to see how it holds up on a "real" gpu.
