There’s nothing like homecoming in a small town. Our team was glad to help sponsor and serve up the homecoming meal at Cheylin High School this year. Thank you to the students, families and staff who made us feel right at home in Bird City. We’re proud to be part of this community!

Hey there, Western Kansas! 👋

Friday night we set up a tailgate in Elkhart, and the wind came along for the party. Our banner put up a fight, but the grill crew kept cooking, and we served over 200 meals!

It was an exciting night to be there with Senior Night and Pink Out both happening that evening. Congratulations to the seniors, and thank you to everyone who showed up in pink.

Mostly, we loved getting to know our neighbors. Thanks for having us, Elkhart. Hope to see you again soon.

Some things are truly terrifying. The buffering wheel that spins forever. The chatbot that can’t understand “my internet is down.” All of the frustrations that keep you from the fun and productivity that you rely on your internet connection for.

This year, we’re ghosting them all. 👻 Swipe to see who didn’t make the guest list.

Symmetrical fiber, unlimited data, no contracts and real people on the phone. That’s Internet Freedom.

We’re kicking off our IdeaTek Culture Series with a look at one of our core values: Trustworthy. At IdeaTek, that means doing the right thing when no one’s watching and following through on what you say you’ll do, for your team and for our customers.

Hear from some of our team members on what being trustworthy looks like day to day.

This is the first of six videos spotlighting the values that guide how we work. Stay tuned for the next one!

When we build fiber in your community, we take care to do it right. Our crews work carefully and treat your neighborhood like it’s their own.

You might see some extra activity on your street for a little while. A little patience now brings a long-term payoff: fast, reliable fiber internet built to serve your home for years to come.

Want to see how and why we build the way we do? Visit our new construction website at ideatek.com/construction.

Our team had a blast at the trade show in Wichita last week! IdeaTek is always the smart play, but we decided to have some fun with a “Dumb and Dumber”-themed booth, complete with our own Kable Cutts ride. 🎩

On a more serious note, we’re always looking to partner with multi-dwelling units. If you’re a property manager, we’d love to hear from you. Our fiber setup is tidy and unobtrusive (swipe to the second photo to see it), which makes it easy to add value to your property with access to reliable, affordable high-speed internet.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by. We loved meeting you and hope to see you next year!

Last Saturday, IdeaTek's Team Fiber Force participated in Pull A Plane in Wichita.

The event raises money for WSU Tech student initiatives and helps keep DOC (a B-29 originally built in Wichita during World War II at Boeing's Plant II, recovered from the Mojave Desert in 1987, brought back to Wichita in 2000, and fully restored by volunteers) flying.

Thank you to the WSU Tech Foundation for putting the event together and to everyone who cheered us on!
