A camp which allows youth and young adults ages 10-18 to learn computer programming. This camp is designed to teach kids and teens the fundamentals of computer science and prepare them for any future courses or jobs that involve computer technology. Through our camp, kids will receive a solid understanding of computer science and be able to program at a level higher than most high scho
ol graduates. Currently, computer science is industry leading in job availability, and as technology is becoming more prominent in today’s society, our class provides the basic tools needed to succeed in our technologicaly advanced world. What You Will Learn
Students will master various java skills that are used in the industry today. Such concepts include: class design, program analysis, standard data structures, algorithms, and computing in context. At the end of the course, each student will have learned the necessary skills to build their own personalized application. Students will be mentored through the programming of their application, as well as be taught how to pitch their product.
