Business to Business Sales Representative:
JOB DESCRIPTION
ANCOM Communications is looking for a business-to-business sales representative to cover the Rochester, MN area. Our sales team has the advantage of immediate brand recognition, as quality Motorola two-way communications are the standard-bearer within the industry. ANCOM is a premier Motorola Solutions channel partner, in business for 28 years. Our sister company, ANCOM Technical Center, is an elite service specialist. To complement our portfolio, and as an added value for our customers, we also have a rental group - Midwest Radio Rentals.
This sales representative will work out of the Rochester office (our main offices are in Burnsville, MN), selling portable, mobile, and base station two-way radios and infrastructure. You will be working businesses in the hospitality, construction, manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, retail, transportation, and entertainment markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Learn the Motorola product portfolio and demonstrate the ability to tailor it to specific customer needs.
Communicate two-way radio solutions benefits, product features, and cost savings to the customer.
Develop an understanding of how ANCOM works with our customers to provide the best communications equipment and service proposals for their needs.
Prospect, cold call, email, and telemarket to potential and new customers.
Deliver sales presentations, and demo products to customers.
Generate sales orders, quotes, and other paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
Coordinate and communicate with the admin staff regarding sales orders, quotes and specific details of a sale.
Coordinate and communicate with the service staff on installations and joint projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree, and/or workplace experience in business-to-business sales.
Solid negotiating and closing expertise is preferred. A strong customer service attitude is required.
A self-starter with high energy, a positive outlook, and a competitive personality are necessary.
Experience using two-way communications is helpful.
Computer proficient, including the use of Microsoft products.
Reliable means of transportation.

Base Salary between $30,000 to $40,000, plus commission, the amount commensurate with experience.
