Can a small change in screen printing improve printed heater performance?

In collaboration with MicroScreen, Butler Technologies investigated how a specialized nano-surface treatment could improve carbon paste transfer during screen printing.

The results showed a three percent increase in carbon deposit thickness, lower electrical resistance, higher operating temperatures, and faster heating response. Further testing with a different carbon ink system showed similar results.

Watch the video to learn how optimizing a single step in the manufacturing process can make a measurable difference in printed heater performance.
