As a private business, the federal government has no right to mandate that we require our team to receive any form of medical treatment or reveal any PHI that is protected by HIPAA. It has always been and always will be our team member's choice about what they put in or on their bodies.

At the request of Lyft General Counsel's statement on abortion "This should be an issue that every company is willing to speak out on."

Here is our statement:

In accordance with our Christian faith, we believe in the sanctity of life and that the primary purpose of our federal government is to secure those rights as stated in our Declaration of Independence, especially for those that unable to secure them for themselves:

"that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are LIFE...That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men"

Hours after the Supreme Court refused to block a Texas law prohibiting most abortions on Wednesday night, a small group of leaders at rideshare company Lyft convened to discuss how the company would respond.

These patriots are bravely standing up to oppressive government the way our founding fathers stood up to an oppressive king. The blank names are those that are choosing to remain anonymous in this broader promotion but advertising with their local community. Additionally, we have spoken to countless more businesses that haven't signed up with us yet but are opening (or already open) all over the state. As the courage spread, more will join this movement. Check their pages or websites for their hours. And keep checking the list, as we update it with new arrivals.

Go give these people all the support you can, it's been a hard year for them. Let's help them end it on a cheerful note!
