highlights CRIO's unique value, as well as the dreamers, the doers, and the innovators within CRIO. Below is our first with Mia Castagnero!
Q: How long have you been working at CRIO and what are your job duties?
Mia: I have been working at CRIO for almost 2 years and I lead sales for clinical research sites. I help to equip research sites with CRIO's technology, which replaces antiquated paper-based data collection processes.
Q: Why do you believe in CRIO’s products and services?
Mia: I started my career at a clinical research site because I am passionate about advancing healthcare and providing patients an alternative access to medications that they may not have had otherwise. While working at a site, I experienced some of the inefficient, manual processes that still exist today.
I had always hoped that technology could replace the never-ending amount of paper binders, but I was unaware that a site-friendly solution existed until I was introduced to CRIO. From then on, I was immediately interested in educating research sites about this technology. I believe making the study conduct process more efficient will allow us to bring life-saving medications to market faster.
Q: What is your favorite part about working at CRIO and why would someone want a job here at CRIO?
Mia: I appreciate that CRIO takes a collaborative approach to solving most problems. Not only do I have the opportunity to work directly with leadership and learn from their combined years of industry experience, but leadership also often asks "what do you think?" - and they are genuinely interested in my opinion.
Additionally, though my primary role is sales, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in engineering, marketing, customer service, finance, and security. If someone is interested in a collaborative company culture and excited by the opportunity to expand your knowledge across multiple departments, CRIO could be a perfect fit!
