It’s not often a photo moves me to ugly cry, but with this one, I just can’t help it. Our daughter is the absolute greatest gift God could ever have entrusted us with. And she wouldn’t be in our arms without the brave love of her first Momma. This beautiful girl is ours through amazing sacrifice, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Every day David and I marvel at our blessings. Even at 3am, we are just so happy to see this perfect little face ♥️ I’m sure more pictures from her newborn shoot will follow. But for now, we are simply in love.

In the last 24 hours I think we’ve experienced every emotion there is. There are no words to truly capture the depth of loss and the height of joy adoption brings. We feel as if we lived the Death through the resurrection all in one day. We are exhausted. We are spent. We are overwhelmed with joy. May this little girl continue to be blessed with such wonderful community as all of you ♥️ Honestly, she would be here without each and every one of you. We have so very much to be thankful for this holiday season ♥️

Y’all are AMAZING ♥️ As of this morning, we are only $1797 away from being fully funded! We only have 24 hours left to come up with it, but we are trusting God will provide completely! Please think of us this morning, and perhaps consider donating what you’d spend on coffee or breakfast to help us be in a position to bring Baby home if Mama decides to follow her adoption plan. We know this is a BIG ask. We also know we serve a BIG God!

Okay everyone here is the latest update. We got a call from our adoption consultant. We were chosen. The birth mom is going in for a c section tomorrow morning.
