Where to even begin! First and foremost, thank you God for sending us to be your hands and feet for this short time. I promise to do my best to continue this into the future. Thank you for allowing us to be a spot for so many people: students, pastors, friends, soccer moms, bible study leaders, the unsheltered, tiny little people, grieving people, joyful people, sinful people...to gather! Thank you for allowing us to (not) always find the right words or offer a hug...to stop what we were doing and just pray: for the woman who lost her husband and the man who lost his wife, for the student(s) lost on their way, for the new and old parents who were struggling to just be in the moment. I will forever be grateful to my crew new and old for always standing beside me (and sometimes in front of me and always behind me) even when some of the decisions I’ve made were dumb. Jess Goodwin Sara Johnson Kristy Marie Smies Haley Nicole Bowen Rachal Urhahn Austin Naber Hanna Sprigg Levi Gresham Destiny Samuel ugh Alex Clark why can’t I tag you🤦🏻♀️ am I missing anyone...if I am I’m sorry (it’s late;) I will forever be grateful for the opportunities this place has afforded us; catering the if:gathering, catering the crew for the Casting Crowns concert and the Rend Collective concert, having JJ Weeks band (twice) and Jason Grey play a concert here (and Joel Vaughn and Jerry Fee, Templesmith, Adelaide, awkward timing , having a HEAVY METAL concert (yes, you read that right;) here. This all, every last bit of it was a God thing! This thing has brought my family closer than it has ever been in my adult life and I will forever be grateful for that! This thing has also brought on more stress than I have ever known!! (Ownership and business is not all it’s cracked up to be;) I will be transparent with you...we were never able to sustain ourselves and while our sales grew year after year it was never enough. It was only because of two very special people that we were able to stay open as long as we did and for that I will be forever grateful as well! Opening a business is hard! And I thought I could do it and I thought I had all the answers, but in the end I am just so grateful for my failed business because of you!! Every single person that walked through our doors!! Every person that I can now call friend!! Every person that has held my hand (not really, thanks Coronavirus) in the last few difficult weeks of making the decision to close our doors! You have been worth every last bit of stress, every last tear shed. So thank you for always supporting us in everything we did. We will forever hold you in our hearts!
