:::sigh::: Folks ..I know there are many of you folks that have "that friend" that says they do repair work but you ...those people read something online and think they're instaneously a technician . They see a you tube video and yep, I can do that ! ..NOT ALWAYS . hand skills and paying attention to detail are extremely important , as well as having an understanding of what is going on under that cover ...here I have an amplifier that was "recapped" by someone else and now there is no sound ...the solder work is extremely sloppy and the power supply board is sitting in the unit precariously about to ground out with the case of the unit ...I see issues with the frontend before I get it all apart ...folks. .first of all , it is not always necessary that your amplifier needs a "recap" ..and is it not always the solution to fixing your problem ! Please ! Just bring it in and have me look at it before you do this !! Not only will it make things easier for me to diagnose , but it will cost you much less if I work on it before someone else has their hands in it .

I also wanted you all to know that I may not always pick up the phone when you call. I have been getting a tremendous amount of spdm calls lately and frankly I get tired of people telling me I need to upgrade my Google search !! Also , there are times that I am in deep thought working on something ..
Just leave a message and l will get back to you ..unless you're wanting me to buy a extended warranty on my truck !! 😛😛😛

Hey folks ...hey ! I promise ! I am going to do another video for you all .I just want to get items repaired and on the shelf before I do it !!

On another note , I need to look at what I should or should not be working on . I'm a glutton for punishment and take on anything I think I can fix . Unfortunately , some of those items take an extremely long time to repair and really causes delays . I will always continue with the home stereo items for sure , but it's going to be a no for the console stereos and all-in-ones and some other small items . I don't want to get too particular but I need to look at trying to pare down my turnaround times and try to get things back in my customers hands a little faster .
I really appreciate everyone's business but I have to take a close look at the work I am doing and come up with the best result ...thank you all for your understanding ..talk to you soon !! Look for that video !! Jeff 🙂
