If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 miles per hour... you're gonna see some serious…. Data!

Back to the Future was the perfect theme for EMSAAC 2026 — and nobody embraced it better than the team at FirstWatch.

We had an absolute blast bringing Hill Valley to the conference floor, with Terry channeling Marty McFly, Todd stepping into the role of George McFly, and Sally keeping the timeline intact as Doc Brown. Great Scott… the booth definitely hit 88 mph.

The result? Great conversations, plenty of laughs, and proof that EMS conferences can have a little fun while still talking innovation. As Doc would say, “Your future is whatever you make it,” and we loved connecting with everyone about the future of EMS.

“Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads…”…just better data, smarter prediction, and maybe a flux capacitor or two.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the FirstWatch booth and joined us for a little time travel at EMSAAC. Until next time — “This is heavy!”

This Memorial Day, all of us at FirstWatch pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

Their courage, commitment, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

As an organization dedicated to Helping the Helpers, we also recognize the military veterans who continue to serve their communities in EMS, healthcare, public safety, and emergency response roles every day.

Today we remember.
Today we honor.
Today we give thanks.

These are two of the most inspiring people I’ve ever met. Without them I would not have EMS as a career, we would not have Physician Assistants, or an organ transplant registry. I’m thrilled about this upcoming conversation! - Mike Taigman

Today we pause to honor EMS professionals who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others.

EMS Remembrance Day is dedicated to remembering those who lost their lives in the line of duty and recognizing the lasting impact they made on their communities, colleagues, patients, and families.

Their dedication, compassion, and commitment to service will never be forgotten.

At FirstWatch, we stand with the EMS community in remembering and honoring these fallen professionals. We also extend our deepest respect to the families and coworkers who carry their legacy forward every day.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Today we recognize the people behind the response.

EMS Recognition Day honors the EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, educators, supervisors, pilots, mechanics, communicators, analysts, and support professionals who serve their communities every day — often without recognition and always without hesitation.

Their compassion, professionalism, courage, and commitment strengthen the entire healthcare and public safety system.

At FirstWatch, we are proud to support the EMS community and grateful for the work you do every day.

Thank you for serving. Thank you for leading. Thank you for caring.

Today within the EMS week calendar is Save-A-Life Day focused on empowering communities through CPR, AED awareness, Stop the Bleed training, and public preparedness programs that give ordinary people the confidence to take lifesaving action before EMS arrives.

Every additional trained citizen strengthens the chain of survival.

At FirstWatch, we support the EMS systems and community partnerships helping build safer, more prepared communities through education and outreach.

Anyone. Anywhere. Can save a life.

Today is EMS for Children Day which recognizes the specialized clinical, physiological, and emotional care required when treating pediatric patients in both prehospital and acute care settings.

It is also an opportunity to promote community awareness around child safety, emergency preparedness, first aid, bicycle safety, and car seat education.

At FirstWatch, we recognize the importance of preparedness, training, and systems that support clinicians caring for our youngest patients.

Specialized care. Compassionate response. Better outcomes for children and families.
