But learning doesn’t stop with our members! This week, IBA Executive Director Dave Arland and IBA Membership Director Katy Barnhart are training in California learning new ways to better connect with our membership and enhance the benefits we offer. We’re always looking for ways to grow, improve, and bring the best and newest opportunities back to our members.

Maybe you tuned in to a ballgame, a local news report, or a weather or traffic update. Maybe there's even a talk or music station you've listened to for years, if not decades. In a car, it can be as simple as just tapping a button — much easier than finding it on your phone.

Broadcasters are fighting to make sure that doesn't have to change. https://cnn.it/4B4QbXu

Thank you Congressman Jim Baird!

AM radio remains one of the most effective methods of emergency broadcast transmission accessible to everyone. It’s a vital layer of America’s Emergency Alert System which provides public warnings about natural disasters, AMBER alerts, etc.

This is why I am proud to support the AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act, which ensures all newly manufactured vehicles must be equipped with AM radio at no additional cost to drivers.

We must act now to protect public safety and secure emergency preparedness by passing this legislation.
