I was recently in the market for a new gaming laptop but wasn't sure exactly which one I would want, as I figured I would have to compromise on certain aspects because I didn't want to spend a ton on money. I came across the MSI GL66 and I had to take a double take as I couldn't believe that it had all the latest and greatest along with a reasonable price. Mine came with the Core i7 11800h processor along with the Nvidia RTX 3070 which just blew my mind! After ordering it and getting in delivered I unboxed it with a fury and got it all up and running. I tried all the usual games, Call Of Duty, Battlefield, Microsoft Flight Sim just to name a few and this laptop didn't skip a beat!!! I am so happy that I found this laptop and it hasn't disappointed yet. If you are in the market for a great gaming rig then look no further this is the one you want. You won't be disappointed with this purchase!

I am a Home Theater buff and just love having the right equipment to experience the movie I am watching to the next level. My latest upgrade was backlighting for my Vizio M558-G1 HDTV but these aren't just any backlights they actually sync the lighting with the movie! I'm starting to offer Smart Home setup. These would include smart lights, smart sockets and switches, smart thermostats and much more. All of these can be controlled via your smart phone, Google Nest and Amazon Alexa. The coolest part of the whole thing is that you can use voice commands to do the automation. An example would be "Hey Google turn on Living room light." and if your bulb supports multiple colors then you could say "Hey Google Change Living Room Light 1 Blue." there are endless possibilities with this new tech and the hardware isn't expensive at all, it just takes time to setup and also to set it up correctly! People are always asking me about good deals on gaming laptops, I go on the explain that if you want a true gaming laptop that they aren't cheap! I paid $1259.99 for mine from Alienware and not only is it fast but it is built like a tank, they did a great job of putting plastic where is should be and also put in heavy duty hinges so there is no way that they are going to wear out of come apart and break the plastic. Here is one that I came across that is a monster and if I were in the market for a gaming laptop this is one that would definitely be at the top of my list.

In the previous post I was talking about adding an SSD drive to your PC/Laptop to speed it up. Well I was searching around on Amazon as I usually do and I found a SUPER DEAL on an SSD you can't beat the price and it's from a reputable company! It's a 480GB drive for only 124.99. I paid 134.99 a piece for both of my SSD drives, they were only 120GB drives which I run in a RAID 0 array to really speed up my system. You can't pass this deal up!

People are always asking what the best upgrade for their PC or Laptop would be, without hesitation I tell them an SSD drive. Your PC is probably taking about 2-5 minutes to fully boot, not just your icons on the screen but actually boot to the point where it is fully functional. Now with an SSD drive you can boot you PC fully anywhere from 10 to 45 seconds depending on how much background applications are loading. SSD drives have come down in cost greatly and the speeds on them are outstanding. Loading times for big games or huge spreadsheets no longer take going to get a cup of coffee and then hoping by the time you get back it's up and ready to go. This also goes for the PS4 and XBox One as they use regular mechanical Hard Drives so upgrading to a SSD drive would also speed up the loading times of games and maps!
