Part of why I got into advertising was how happy I felt when I’d see repetition of products in stores. Something about the soda cans was just so iconic to me - and I don’t even drink soda! While I still find the awe in brand collections on the shelves, I’ve been much more critical of the marketing industry lately.

I guess this is my start at my response to consumerism and over consumption. Pop art has always been a personally favorite style but I don’t think I really understood it until recently. More to come!

Me being who I am, I’m over doing my side project and have been working on a brand for the paper artworks I’m creating. Paperpila is my personal way of creating layered paper art from design to ex*****on. I plan to make lots of these crayons to give away, with lots of color variations. I’m having too much fun 🤩

This is me finding the limits of what I can produce. Some cuts are too tiny or slim. I need to consider this in the design update but overall I love these concepts. It’s a fun challenge.
