Java opened in September 2016 to be the new eSports mecca in Dallas, TX. We have 61 high-end PCs w/ 1070s or 1080s connected to 144Hz or 240Hz monitors. For the streamers out there, we have a 2 PC stream booth w/ a physical mixer and green screen. If PC is not your thing, Java has 2 PS4,a Xbox, a Wii for Melee & Wii U. Java also has coffee/boba tea/fruit smoothies and a phenomenal restaurant.

Thank you all for the loving words. It is hard to let go of java, but it’s even harder not see all of you. We all lost our second home. Debbie, Katie, Ethan and I lost our second family too. We loved providing a clean and safe place where gamers could come and have fun. We were alway there for anyone if they just wanted to talk. I will miss that the most. This is not goodbye but see you later. Java will rise again bigger and better. We will miss you until that day comes. We love all of y’all.

With covid hitting all the small business hard, we were no exception. Unlike other businesses with drive-thru, takeout, and online orders, Java guest don't have that option. We had to mandatorily close on March 19-June 4. We have been paying as much rent as we could since then. We had to let all of our employees go. Jeff and Debbie have worked the last 7 months without pay to stay afloat.
We received a notice from the Landlord that they wanted a certain amount of unpaid back rent by 1/25 or they would lock the doors. Java and the landlord came to an agreement on a lower amount that we could pay. We got the money ready but on the 24th, they said they wanted the original amount. Unfortunately, we could not come up with that and have been locked out of Java.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to each and every guest that came. You were our family. We are heartbroken that this happened and thank each person for your patronage. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
