What a wonderful evening of community, connection, and collaboration! ❤️

A big thank you to and Dave Rappa for the incredible work they do through the Heart of Massachusetts, bringing together local businesses, professionals, and community leaders in one room. Their efforts create meaningful opportunities to build relationships, support one another, and strengthen our local business community. It’s amazing to see what happens when good people come together with a shared purpose!

This particular evening was extra special thanks to several wonderful people who helped make it happen:

🍽️ Kristen Precourt, owner of K Cooks, private chef and caterer, put together an absolutely amazing spread for everyone to enjoy. The food was fabulous, and her talent and thoughtfulness made the evening even more memorable!

📻 A Behind-the-Scenes Look at 95.9 WATD FM, The South Shore’s Radio Station!

I had the pleasure of visiting 95.9 WATD FM in Marshfield for a fascinating behind-the-scenes tour with Rob Hakala Jr., Program Director and Morning Host Rob was incredibly welcoming and gave me an inside look at what makes this local radio station so special!

One of the highlights was meeting Edward Perry, owner of WATD, and hearing the incredible history of the station, his journey in broadcasting, and the role WATD has played in the South Shore community over the years. Ed’s passion, knowledge, and stories made the visit truly memorable! I also had the privilege of seeing his outstanding record collection 🎶 a collection any music lover would appreciate!

From the broadcasters’ recognition and memorabilia to the impressive equipment behind the scenes that keeps everything on the air, it was fascinating to see just how much goes into keeping a local radio station running.

Even more exciting, WATD will be celebrating its 50th anniversary next year! What an incredible milestone and a testament to the station’s longstanding connection to the community.

As someone who enjoys connecting with local businesses through AdamsComm, I especially appreciate the important role WATD plays in keeping our communities informed, sharing local stories, and supporting the South Shore’s business community.

Yesterday, we lost a colleague and a dear friend.

Tom was always in our corner, and I don't know where our business would be today without his contributions and the lasting impact he made. He and I worked together for the better part of 32 years, and his knowledge, skills, and influence were instrumental to our success.

Even near the end, he was still looking for ways to help us, sharing his knowledge and passing along his skills to our team. That was just the kind of person he was.

Our team will miss him dearly, and I know I will feel his loss deeply. He was an amazing human being, and I am truly grateful for all he gave to me, both professionally and personally.

My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and all those who loved him. I hope they find comfort in knowing how much Tom meant to so many people and the lasting difference he made in our lives.

The scholarships help local graduating seniors pursue higher education in the business field, making this event an investment in the next generation of business leaders in our community. 🎓
