Did you know that the "End of Life" for Windows XP is soon approaching?

April 8, 2014 is the end of Windows XP. What does this mean for you? There will no longer be any kind of support which includes security fixes or any other update from Microsoft. This will also likely include no support on any 3rd party software that you have on your XP machine. That means those awesome games that you have been playing for the last decade will no longer get support.

Beware of scam caller out there. Someone calls from "Microsoft" support or some other well know company and tells you that you have something wrong with your computer or that your computer is sending out messages to Microsoft. They tell you that they need to get a remote connection to resolve the issue and they tell you that the cost is between $99 and $199 depending on the service option that you want.

This is a SCAM! Microsoft and all of the other big companies out there like Microsoft will never call you out of the blue and do this. They do not have departments that monitor everyone's computer.

If you fall victim to this scam give us a call immediately. If you gave them credit card info, contact the card company, get a reimbursement, and cancel the card.
