His TechTarget article discusses the tectonic shift happening in the virtual desktop market, and provides a great primer on 11 vendors (including Cameyo that orgs are turning to as alternatives to the legacy VDI/DaaS providers. And he highlights a key trend - the fact that the "desktop" itself is becoming less relevant:

"As organizations migrate the low-hanging-fruit Windows apps to a cloud or SaaS service, overall dependency on Windows, "the desktop," is weakening."
