C&V Creative Director + Brand designer to aspiring industry icons to help them become visible AF. Mom to two gorgeous muses, C&V. ®

’m here to help you design a brand that opens doors. I’m Illiah (ill•e•ahh), a brand designer helping visionary business owners, like you, create more income and impact with brand identities that amplifies your message and elevates your business. For six years, I’ve closely collaborated with entrepreneurs from Baltimore to Amsterdam to create scroll-stopping social media graphics, drool-worthy wor

kbooks, and can’t-look-away webinar slide decks. Before that, and after getting my Graphic Design degree, I spent seven years in ad agencies designing everything from logos and icons to pens, mugs, and vehicle wraps (yes, really.) Which means I know a thing or two about creating a consistent brand across ANY medium. There’s only one thing I won’t design: websites. When we chat, ask me why! 😝😎

Whether you know that your current visuals are holding you back from growth and are ready for a rebrand, or you need on-going support to create an elevated, cohesive brand across your growing platform, I can’t wait to help you build a brand that opens doors and gets your message heard by the right people. Ready for a brand that opens doors?

Heather and I worked together on retainer before her sabbatical. When she returned to her business strategy and advising, she came back to me.

In 2016, I knew Heather as the icon changing the online entrepreneurial culture from competition to community. Some of my closest friends came from her online community, Savvy Business Owners.

When we spoke about her new brand and starting again, she told me her brand had to hold vibrancy, contrast with blush and neutrals, and corporate sophistication. And lots of pattern.
She described wanting her clients to feel her empathetic, uplifting, joyful, compassionate energy. The visuals had to feel approachable, dependable, and premium, but colorful, modern, bold, and fun. But most definitely not cute. Full of intention and effortless at the same time.

She knew what she wanted. I knew how it fit together before she could show me.

These six envelope liners exist as six different patterns in a brand system built to express a woman and her brand moving through seasons of life and business together.

When strategy meets soul your brand becomes your greatest invitation.

I’m tired of performing for the algorithm. A few days ago, my friend Heather shared an IG story that hit me with truth that resonated. She doesn’t have time to write hooks or be strategic about instagram. Me either.

It’s not what presence is. And, Heather’s posts are some of the most genuine and enjoyable. Presence is not worrying about the algorithm. It’s listening to your audience and their interests. What they care about. What will help them scale their vision.

Heather’s brand holds the same genuine energy from her logo to her videos to her website. She’s built her brand for presence. When your brand aligns with the energy of where you’re going and you show up for the people meant to find you, you stop performing.

Interior design isn’t choosing pretty pillows. The best design doesn’t tell you who to be. It reveals who you are becoming.

The Archila Interiors logo design is rooted in the etymology of Leslie’s name. Archila is thought to derive from the Latin word archil, a specific type of lichen used to make textile dyes. As important as the background of the families Leslie designs for is, I knew her background would be just as important to her visual identity.

The visual brand lives at the intersection of how Leslie designs and how her clients live. Every color in this system feels like it came from the earth. Deep forest green. Aged brass. Sun-warmed clay. Natural stone. Terracotta. Blush plaster. Colors inspired by the earth that feel lived in.

The interlocking, layered A of the mark reads as both structure and nature. Mountains. Roof lines. Growth rings of a tree. Layers of a family building something together. Philosopher Regular, as the headline font, was the only choice for this brand. It has the classical weight of something that will still be right in twenty years, which is exactly how Leslie designs.

When strategy meets soul, your brand becomes your greatest invitation.

Your brand still introduces you to rooms you’ve already claimed. An iconic brand commands them.

Your destination is clear, but getting there is like wading through a thick haze. It’s not confusion about your vision. It’s the gap between who you are and how your brand represents you.

The feeling on the other side of the haze isn’t a prettier brand or a more cohesive grid. It is clarity, direction and the visual system that’s already pointing toward where you’re going so you don’t have to keep explaining it.

My most creative logo design yet was designed for Nina Esposito, Makeup Artist, Intuitive, Alchemist.

Nina makes people feel empowered, not pretty. You feel good because of what is inside, regardless of makeup. While she works on the outer beauty, she also brings out your inner beauty.

Four years later, Nina’s brand still feels like tomorrow, thanks to its unique monogram that plays with negative space to create the E and the n. Flip the card over and the chartreuse explodes.

The colors, Cobalt, Forest Green, Chartreuse and a deep reddish-pink work because of the striking contrast. The chartreuse refuses to be contained.

When strategy meets soul, your brand becomes your greatest invitation.

“What does your business need from you right now?”

That was the question asked in my group coaching session today. The answer arrived immediately and heavy in my solar plexus.

Joy in the process. My energy has been off lately, and things aren’t moving fast enough for me. I’m sitting with these two things in conflict. My business actually needs me to continue walking through the weeds to nurture and water it, regardless of the outcome.

I invite you to sit with this question too: What does your business need from you?

Done dimming. Done duct-taping. Done waiting until it’s “ready.”You’ve redone your colors twice. Bought the template. Hired a few designers. And your brand still doesn’t look like your business.

That’s not a taste problem. It’s a gap between who you are now and what the world is currently seeing. CoCreate is three seats to sit with me live, inside your files, in real time.

You walk away with work done and knowing exactly why every decision was made. That’s the difference between a brand that looks good and one that leads.

The seat is here. Link in bio.

How long have you felt like you’re running on this treadmill: DIY-ing, hiring, DIY-ing again when your amazing VA gets distracted?

CoCreate isn’t just another done-with-you session. Because I’m not gate-keeping my 20+ years as a designer or my 10+ years as a brand strategy expert. When you leave, you’ll know that not only is it done, it’s right. And how to make everything else you create live up to that standard, because you’ll be able to brief your VA - or invite her to join in the call. Join me on Friday, August 7.
