My grandmother and mother were both florists and a hobbyist of all kinds of craft. I consider myself to be a maker, a printmaker to be specific. I went to school to become an art teacher, which I currently am by day but my true love is being a screen printer by night and weekend. Breakout Press Co. originated directly after I graduated from college. For anyone who knows screen printing, it can be
difficult to pursue on the side. It requires a lot of materials and space. However, my love for the medium was not going to let that get in my way. My passion for the art form is what motivated me to open my shop. was my way of providing affordable stationary and cloth goods to the world while fulfilling my passion to sling ink and squeegees whenever I can.
