Quick ROI math you can do at your kitchen table tonight: how many leads does your website send you in a month? Multiply by your average ticket. That's your monthly revenue from organic. Divide by 0.6 (rough lead-to-job conversion). If your website's gross monthly revenue is more than 10x your maintenance fee, you're under-investing in the site. If it's less than 3x, you're over-investing OR the site isn't doing its job. Most service businesses we work with sit between 8x-25x. End of month update from Bochi Web: in August, we shipped 47 customer-requested edits across our $75–$125 Management tiers. We applied 1,847 plugin updates across the customer base. We ran 47 hack-cleanup processes (47 individual sites detected with malware, all cleaned). We did 4 emergency restores from backup. We sent a monthly summary email to every customer. All for the same flat-rate pricing customers signed up for — $45 to $125. No surprise fees, no upcharges, no "we had to do extra work, here's an invoice." Today's universal WordPress tip: open WP admin → Plugins. Scroll through. Count how many are "Inactive." That number should be 0. Inactive plugins still load on your site (especially their tracking and admin code). Each one is a potential vulnerability. Each one slows down page load. If you have 5+ inactive plugins, deleting them is a 10-minute, zero-risk maintenance task. We include this in every plugin audit.
