Clay has 150+ data providers, AI columns, signal tracking, and a credit system that charges for every enrichment run. That flexibility is exactly what makes it dangerous when the integration with HubSpot isn't built correctly.
We keep seeing the same patterns. One person built the tables, they left, and now nobody can trace which columns feed which workflows. Credits burn on records that were never going to qualify. Null values from a refresh silently overwrite fields a rep updated by hand last week. Webhooks fail, nobody notices, and leads sit in limbo until someone checks a spreadsheet they weren't supposed to need anymore.
We can help. We audit what exists, document every column and dependency, build overwrite protection so Clay never stomps on rep-owned fields, and reorder waterfall providers by cost and hit rate for the segments that actually matter. Then we tie credit spend to pipeline created so the line item is defensible at renewal.
If your Clay + HubSpot setup was built by one person and nobody else understands it, that is the first problem worth solving.
