Shopping the lumber aisles = therapy for that post holiday all the kids are gone and they took the sweet grands with them 😞, oh and I may have gained five pounds 🫣
Buying boards is way easier than that workout I am avoiding haha!

I usually say the magic happens when I start painting or staining my pieces BUT tonight the magic in the workshop is brought by my wintertime bestie, the heater! Look she is even saying “Hi” to everyone. Isn’t she nice? 😊. Temp outside is 13* but feels like 5*. All I know is that it’s COLD! What’s the temp looking like for you tonight?

I was cleaning up the hurricane level of chaos in my shop after the market prep last week and came across this frame I made. It made me reflect on the vision I had for my business two and a half years ago. Despite the obstacles of the past two years, including a breast cancer diagnosis and ongoing treatment, I've found joy and peace through my work. Triple Creek Designs has been a labor of love, and I'm thankful for the support of my family and friends who have helped me bring my vision to life. Looking ahead, I'm filled with hope and excitement for what's to come. Thanks for joining me on this journey ❤️

So Triple Creek Designs will be at the winter market this weekend in Cedar Rapids. When I was making this I wasn’t exactly meaning I wanted a major snow storm the weekend of the market!!!
