I would like to introduce our company name as iWat. While All Star remains our "Brand" name for our products and custom built systems. We have been going by the name for awhile now. When you call in someone may answer iWat or iWat and All Star Computers.

We provide all of the same services what we have since 2005. We have added some additional services as well. We now also provide custom application development as well as web development services.

I know it has been awhile since any updates were posted. We are, and have been, open for normal business hours at the office and for onsite work etc. I have updated our brand logo as well.

Normal Business hours are:
8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday

Finally getting unpacked at the new location. This won't be the final bench setup, but things are starting to get back to normal.

I wanted to put out a little update. As of Friday we have moved to our new location at 780 South 2nd Street
Chambersburg, PA 17201. It is still a work in progress with ongoing construction, but the Service Area is coming together well. We maintain the same phone numbers and contact information otherwise. The change puts us in a facility with great potential that is a bit more centrally located. We also now have a lot more space that our previous location. I hope to be posting some updated location photos later this week. We are operating and still doing in shop and onsite services as normal while we are getting settled in.

So here is something. If you ever see one of these do NOT call the phone number on the message. It is a scam, computers don't know their service number and that isn't HP Support. The message being displayed is from the people who infected your computer in the first place. Thank you for your consideration.

Ok, So I have been saying it for weeks I need to find a way to let people know about these Scareware Phone Scams. So this article is one of the simplest.

I figure I on average lately get atleast 1 call a week on these scams. Typically after the customer has let them have access to their pc. Including one last Wednesday and one this Monday.

So please be aware and don't ever call a phone number that just happens to pop up on your computer screen telling you to call it for support. I know of no situation that a computer ever gives you a popup of a phone number to call, although the manufacturer can put in a contact phone number for you, it never opens on it's own.

Also be aware that doing a google search of "HP Tech Support" or Dell or Compaq or Norton or Kaspersky Support etc almost never has a top result of the legitimate company. Don't automatically believe everything you read on the internet, it isn't always true.
