Some weeks it feels like your business is running you, not the other way around.

Dan Mall walked us through what it actually looks like to choose on purpose instead of coasting on autopilot.

Five moves:

Name the choice you’re avoiding.

Choose your hard.

Know when to walk away, even from something good

Go deep before you decide if you’re passionate.

Build your day around energy, not the clock.

None of this is about doing more. It’s about choosing on purpose.

Your followers aren’t customers… yet.

You post the photo. The likes roll in. The comments are nice. Then nothing. No sales. No inquiries. You’re not doing it wrong, you’re missing a system.

Gannon Meyer walked us through the 3-step fix he uses with clients: free, segment, upsell. Give something away that solves one small problem. Ask one specific question instead of “any questions?” Then match your offer to whatever they told you, no pitch required.

Swipe through for the full breakdown, including why a plain photo with bold text outperforms a polished graphic, and why your DMs should always be pointing people back to your email list.

Your calendar is full. Your energy is gone. Sound familiar?

Executive coach Simon Alexander Ong sat down with us to break down exactly why burnout keeps happening, and what to do about it. Swipe through for how you can start taking back your energy and prioritizing your time this week!

You can have a perfectly scheduled day and still show up completely depleted.

Time management gets you to the meeting. Energy management is what happens once you’re in it.

Most business owners only manage one type of energy. Usually the physical one. Usually badly.

Simon Alexander Ong breaks it into four. Swipe through to see all of them and figure out which one is costing you the most right now.

Before you touch your marketing strategy, check your sleep.

Simon Alexander Ong learned this the hard way. He spent years in financial services skipping meals and running on no sleep, and eventually his body simply stopped cooperating. No strategy works if the foundation it sits on is broken.

A tired brain reacts. A rested one creates.

When your mental energy is depleted, you stop solving problems and start absorbing them. The designer running on empty just says yes to scope creep and resents it later. The one running on full sees three solutions.

There are always two sales happening in your business.
The second is selling yourself to a client. The first is selling yourself to yourself. If you haven’t made that first sale yet, no script or pricing guide is going to fix the second one.

Comment SIMON for The Energy Management Playbook.

Clients can feel the difference between someone who loves the work and someone who’s going through the motions.

That energy is completely un-fakeable. Which is exactly why it’s worth protecting. And why comparison is one of the fastest ways to drain it.

Swipe to book more clients on your website 👀

Usually it’s not your colors or your fonts. It’s smaller stuff: a missing price, a buried contact button, a headline Google can’t read.

Swipe through for 5 quick fixes you can make today.

It’s rarely your colors, fonts, or portfolio. It’s smaller stuff than that, and more fixable. These 5 fixes take minutes each. Work through them one at a time.

If someone can’t tell who you help in the first few seconds, they leave. Write one sentence:

“I help [who] do [what] so they can [outcome].”

Put it above the fold. Then rewrite your About page to lead with your client, not your credentials. Add a photo of yourself too. People hire people.

Qualified leads bounce when they can’t find a number. Add “starting at $X” to your services page, no form required. Lead with what’s included, then name the price. It filters out bad fits before they hit your inbox.

Count the CTAs on your homepage. More than three? Start cutting. Then check: is your contact button in the nav and at the bottom of every page? Walk your own site like a stranger would. If it feels slow, a visitor will bounce.

“She was so fun to work with!” doesn’t sell anyone. Text your last three clients and ask: what were you worried about before we started, and what’s different now? Move your best answer next to your main CTA, not on a separate reviews page.

“Moody, light-soaked moments” is beautiful and invisible to Google. Rewrite your homepage headline with this formula: location + service + client type. Let your voice show up in the sentences after.

You don’t need to fix all 5 today. Pick the one that stings the most and start there. Want the full playbook with scripts and templates for each fix? Comment “PLAYBOOK” and we’ll send it over!

You’re not overwhelmed because you’re doing too much.

You’re overwhelmed because you haven’t decided what matters most.

Jay Papasan co-wrote The One Thing and has spent nearly two decades studying why some people build real momentum and others just stay busy. The answer almost always comes back to the same question: what’s the one thing that would help everything else you’re building right now?

Not five things. One.

Swipe through for the framework. It’s simpler than you think.

You’re getting inquiries. You’re just not converting them.

The problem isn’t your photography and it’s not your pricing. Rachel Traxler says it’s almost always the infrastructure around the inquiry. The form, the response, the page someone lands on after they hit submit.

Five fixes. Most take less than an hour. Swipe through.
