Before Kingville was a school, we came from kings and queens.

And when our story crossed into the story of America, we didn’t stop being part of history — we helped make it.

From Crispus Attucks and the Revolutionary War…
to slavery, emancipation and the Civil War…
to Booker T. Washington, Rosenwald Schools and generations of Black educators, builders, families and communities…

African American history IS American history. 🇺🇸✊🏾

That’s what Kingville represents to me.

Not just an old building.
Not just Black history.
OUR history.

And now we have an opportunity to take that history and use it to build something for the generations coming behind us.

From kings & queens…to classrooms, culture & community.
