Sometimes the best logos are the ones that do exactly what they need to do and nothing more.
Mr. Concrete is a company, and this brand needed to feel like the work itself. Solid. Direct. No nonsense.
We kept the type bold and condensed, all caps, with a dark charcoal that reads like raw material. The is tight and confident, the kind of lettering that holds up just as well on a hard hat as it does on a business card.
The real detail is in the separator between "MR" and "CONCRETE." That vertical red bar is not just a divider. It doubles as a tie, a subtle nod to the "Mr." that gives the brand a little personality without softening its edge. It is the one moment where the logo winks at you.
That red is doing a lot of work for one small element. It breaks the monotony of the dark type, adds a human quality to what could otherwise feel purely , and gives the eye somewhere to land.
And then you see it on the hard hat, on the business card sitting on a concrete surface, in a warehouse window, and the whole thing just clicks. It belongs there. It looks like it was always going to be that brand.
