Redline Design Group Wins 2025 Outstanding Philanthropic Small Business Award
Charlotte, NC — Redline Design Group, a Charlotte-based architecture and design firm, has been named the recipient of the 2025 Outstanding Philanthropic Small Business Award by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Charlotte Chapter. The award will be presented during National Philanthropy Day celebrations this fall.
Nominated by The Relatives, a nonprofit focused on keeping kids safe and families together by providing shelter and support to vulnerable youth and young adults, and supported by Classroom Central, Redline Design Group was recognized for its exceptional commitment to community enrichment through volunteerism, in-kind donations, and innovative philanthropic practices.
Founded in 2002, Redline has embedded the value of “INVEST IN OTHERS” into its company culture. The firm has cultivated a workplace where giving back is not just encouraged, it’s expected. Employees are empowered to volunteer up to eight hours annually during work hours, and the company hosts monthly in-office volunteer events to assemble snack packs and hygiene kits for youth served by The Relatives.
Since 2016, Redline has partnered with The Relatives to provide consistent, hands-on support. Their monthly contributions have included over 2,800 relief kits annually, more than 200 volunteer hours, and over $55,000 of in-kind donations.
Beyond their work with The Relatives, Redline also supports Classroom Central, Second Harvest Food Bank, and Habitat for Humanity. Their contributions include building homes, donating school supplies, and organizing food drives—demonstrating a broad and sustained commitment to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community.
The Outstanding Philanthropic Small Business Award honors a business with fewer than 100 employees whose charitable activities go above and beyond their core mission. Redline Design Group’s holistic and heartfelt approach to philanthropy makes them a standout example of corporate citizenship in Charlotte.
