Alexa & Hugh's custom wedding stationery suite started with a custom painted watercolor oyster. 🦪 This was so fun to paint - the intricacy of the shell and the iridescent rainbow effect inside...really highlights the relaxed beachy Cape Cod wedding vibe, but still feels elegant and formal. 🌊 For the invitation, we decided to use the shell again, but then add a custom pocket to the back to hold their enclosure cards. This pocket features a hand painted watercolor of Chatham Bars Inn created by the groom's father, and then introduces bright and fun lemon art for a Mediterranean twist.
